Biography

Denslow became a professional organizer in 1974 (in Connecticut and New York City). She is now an ADHD coach and mentor coach and living in Douglas County, Missouri.

She has been active in both National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) since their inceptions, holding several volunteer, leadership and trainer roles. and receiving NAPO’s President’s and Founders’ Awards and ICD’s Judith Kolberg Award. In ICD, as an ICD Master Trainer, Denslow has taught dozens of ICD teleclasses (usually on ADHD or coaching), been a Program Mentor for CPO-CDs, is the curriculum designer and trainer for the Communication Mentors, and is the Mentor Coach for ICD Level V Program Mentors.

Credentialed in 2008 as a Master Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, Denslow documented 200 hours of coach training and 2500 client hours in her original application and an additional 40 coach training hours in each of four recertification applications. She is a graduate of the Optimal Functioning Institute's ADHD Coach Training Program -- and has also trained with MCCs Barbara Luther and Laura Berman Fortgang -- and Stephen Filante, PCC.

Denslow founded Coach Approach Training / Institute for Applied Coaching with Cameron Gott, PCC to bring the coaching philosophy and skills into the best practices of the organizing and productivity field. CAT/IAC is accredited by ICF.  IAC (the credentialing branch) supports eight coaching credentials – each of which reflects the integration of coaching with professional ADHD, organizer and productivity competence. She's presented for more than 40 years at conferences for professional organizers, ADHD professionals and coaches.
