Biography
Susie is dedicated to helping organizations achieve greatness by providing coaching and consulting services focused on leadership development and cultural transformation.
Susie is an experienced HR leader and certified coach with over 25 years’ experience in multiple and diverse industries, organizations and cultures. As an Executive Coach of Propel Coaching and Consulting, Susie partners with leaders to improve their effectiveness in existing roles or assists them in transitioning to a new role in or outside of organizations.
As a Consultant, Susie works with organizations to achieve and exceed business results through building effective HR processes, tools and programs with a focus on employee engagement. Prior to starting Propel, Susie led the Human Resource team of a progressive high growth global software company, Perceptive Software, which grew from 35 to over 1,200 employees in over a 10-year period.
Susie’s vast experience and insight around the value of focusing on engagement to achieve and sustain award-winning workplaces helps her deliver a positive impact on an organization's talent brand. Specialties include HR leadership in high growth organizations, executive coaching, life coaching, career transition coaching, Best-Place-To-Work coaching and consulting, start-up advisory, talent acquisition and culture development.
In addition to her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Personnel Administration, Susie holds a CPCC certification through Coaches Training Institute, she is a SEIP certified coach through the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence and she is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an ACC. Susie sits on the ICF Heartland Chapter Board, the Thomas P. O’Sullivan IV Foundation Board, she is a GMS Lead Mentor to entrepreneurs through the Enterprise Center of Johnson County and she is a Kansas City Techstars Mentor.
