Biography
Dorthea L. Johnson is the Principal and Managing Partner of WitandWisdom, LLC. In her current role, Dorthea is privileged to partner with clients to support their learning and development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
Utilizing her decades of experience as a senior executive in the insurance industry, she has achieved results by combining a passion for people and their development with the insights gained through leadership development, performance management, and risk analysis. Before starting her business, she worked in Operations, Learning and Development, and Underwriting at several insurance companies. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President and Underwriting Center Manager for Chubb Personal Risk Services in Kansas City, MO.
Dorthea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). When she isn’t being a proud aunt and godmother or engaging with clients, you’ll find her listening to podcasts, dancing, or traveling.
